David came to Ohio in 1968 from Wetumpka, Alabama. He is the son of Mimae Mitchell-Thomas and Roscoe Thomas who precedes him in death. He was married for 45 years to Lorine Thomas who passed away on August 3, 2007. He also has one son, David Birmingham, who passed away on April 24, 2010.
